Quick Biscuits

Makes 18-20 biscuits


  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • 3 Tbsp vegetable oil


  1. Preheat over to 425°F.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients together. Then mix in all wet ingredients and stir until moistened.
  3. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead 5-6 times. Roll out to ½ thickness. Cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on greased baking sheet. Brush tops with the leftover milk.
  4. Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden brown.

Serve with Sausage Gravy or with butter/jam.
