Maple Syrup

Makes 2 cups of maple syrup


  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp vanilla


  1. Pour all but vanilla into a sauce pan and heat on medium high heat. Stir constantly and bring to a boil.
  2. Boil for 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in extract. Can add any other extracts at this point.
  4. Can serve immediately but cool to store.
  5. Store in glass container at room temperature.
