French Toast

Makes 12 slices of french toast


  • 12 slices of bread (stale white bread thickly sliced is best)
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon


  1. Preheat the griddle to 325°F.
  2. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a shallow dish the size of the bread.
  3. Lay bread slice flat down into the milk mixture, then gently flip with a fork to dip the opposite side.
  4. Cook slices for 2-3 minutes per side on a greased griddle or skillet.
  5. Cool on wire rack or serve immediately.
